Time-Resolved Particle Image Velocimetry

Non-invasive visualization technics are widely used for the examination of the flow fields, such us Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Time-Resolved Particle Image Velocimetry (TR-PIV), which introduces tracers and they are chosen in such a way that their movement represents the movement of the fluid.
