Design Module

Design module is the first phase of a new born gerotor pump project. Probably, the better-known character- istics are volumetric capacity and location-housing dimensions of the pump. Therefore, the geometrical parameters for the design model were chosen in order to be the most basic dimensions that a designer knows for the pump application.  

The design module allows choosing of options for plotting all the found set of gears in order to inspect the shape of the teeth together with the volumetric capacity value and irregularity flow index. All items of data of the set of gears are saved in a file.

Once the pair of gears is selected through the design module, it is the moment for the user to move on to the second phase of the methodology: volumetric characteristics module.
